Congratulations to the International Finals Qualifiers:

             Nathan & Jesse Rask from King Pin Lanes in Gordon

             Cassandra & Donald Kates from Cedar Bowl in North Platte

These teams will compete in Grapevine, Texas in July. International information packets will be sent directly to these bowlers. Proprietors will need to help complete this file of information so please make arrangements to meet with your finalist. All averages for International competition will be adjusted according to games bowled in the state qualifying competitions. This information is very important. Thank you in advance for assistance in completing the forms.   
   
$10000.00 in scholarships has been awarded to the winners and runners up in each of the ten divisions at both State Finals sites. All scholarship money is administered through the USBC SMART Program. Winners will receive information from the USBC for their SMART account. In addition, the top five places in each division will receive medals. These awards will be mailed directly to the winner’s home bowling center. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for them to show up. 
   
This year’s tournament featured 535 teams at the House level, 489 teams at the Regional level, and 338 teams at the State level. At an average of $16 per team for lineage, participating centers generated over $21500.00 in revenue plus food and beverage sales. If your center did not participate in this tournament, you should consider making it a part of your youth program next season. It is only one of the many benefits of being a member of the NSBPA!

The 2009-2010 Juan Valdez International Family Tournament presented by Qubica/AMF is open to all sanctioned youth bowlers and adults. A team is comprised of one youth and one adult bowler. Teams must compete to qualify for Regional, State Final, and National levels of the tournament through their own center or house qualifiers. All house qualifiers must be completed by January 12th, 2010.

Teams will be placed in divisions based on age of youth and partner type. Parent/Child and Parent/Teen divisions mean a legal guardian or grandparent as the adult partner. Adult/Child and Adult/Teen divisions will not advance to National Finals, but will compete for scholarships at State Finals level.
